Canvas describes the building material, not a fixed comfort level. A furnished safari tent with a private bathroom is a different stay from basic camping, and neither a tent photograph nor the word camp establishes what the price includes.
Tulia’s Superb tents have en-suite bathrooms, while its Deluxe category adds a private plunge pool. Tortilis has king or twin tent arrangements and separate family/private-house options. Ask for the specific room category before comparing photographs and prices.
AA offers raised tents as well as rooms and stone cottages. Manjaro offers a simpler budget base with several room arrangements. A lodge with tents should not automatically be treated as a bring-your-own-tent campsite or as an exclusive camp for your group.
Manjaro’s starting basis is a single room with full board. Tulia and Tortilis show adult-sharing full-board bases. Elephant Garden’s entry basis is a daily game package, while Porini’s is a complete two-night road package per adult sharing.
Keep both occupancy and duration visible. Porini’s extra-night price is conditional on a package and is not used here as a standalone nightly starting amount. For each camp, confirm drinks, vehicle use, guiding, transfers and park or conservancy charges.
Soroi’s Luxury Tents are inside the park, while Bush Camp’s Upper Camp is an outside-park self-catering choice. Conservancy tents and Chyulu regional stays have different access arrangements. Campi ya Kanzi’s national-park excursions are separate; an Amboseli name does not establish an inside-park address.
Ask about the bathroom, hot water, charging, night-time assistance, walking routes to the dining area and any steps that affect your party. Bring preferences and practical needs to the enquiry; tent descriptions do not establish accessibility or uninterrupted connectivity.
