Day01

Nairobi → Amboseli

Fly from Nairobi to Amboseli

Your transfer collects you at the agreed Nairobi hotel or airport and takes you to Wilson Airport for the scheduled flight to Amboseli. Complete check-in with the baggage allowance confirmed for your booking. On arrival at the Amboseli airstrip, meet your driver-guide and transfer to your selected camp or lodge for lunch and check-in.

Take a private afternoon game drive through the park’s plains and marsh margins. Watch for elephant families, zebra, wildebeest and buffalo, and pause for Kilimanjaro photographs when visibility allows. Your guide selects the circuit around your arrival flight and park hours, then returns you to the accommodation for dinner. Flights are shared scheduled services; the quoted ground vehicle and game drives are private.

Day02

Amboseli National Park

Elephants, wetlands and open plains

Leave after breakfast for a full day among Amboseli’s grasslands, acacia edges and permanent wetlands. Follow elephant movements between feeding areas and water, stopping to watch herd behaviour rather than rushing between sightings. Zebra, wildebeest, buffalo and gazelles are regular subjects; your guide also scans open ground and shaded cover for lion, spotted hyena and cheetah. Predator encounters depend on the animals’ movements.

Continue around the marsh margins for waterbirds and hippos in deeper pools. At Observation Hill, take the designated walking trail for a wide view over the basin and enjoy your packed lunch at a permitted picnic site. The afternoon drive returns through productive habitats as light changes across the plains. Your guide keeps the route within open tracks and park hours, returning to the same accommodation for dinner.

Day03

Amboseli → Nairobi

A final drive and flight to Nairobi

Begin with breakfast and a final private game drive, planned around the confirmed departure flight. Watch for elephants and plains animals in the cooler conditions and spend time on the wetland birdlife before check-out. The guide arranges the lodge and airstrip sequence so the included activity fits the actual flight schedule.

Transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled return flight to Nairobi Wilson. Your Nairobi transfer meets the flight and takes you to the agreed hotel or onward airport; a light lunch is included around the transfer. Wilson and JKIA are separate airports, and a generous connection buffer is essential. Your quote confirms airline, baggage rules, flight taxes and the precise ground arrangements before booking.
