Nairobi to Amboseli and back

Leave Nairobi before the main city traffic and travel south to Amboseli with a comfort stop en route. This is a demanding road day: the outward and return transfers occupy much of the journey, and there is no overnight stay. Enter the park for an extended game drive through grassland and wetland habitats.

Watch for elephants feeding around the marshes, plains animals such as zebra and wildebeest, and buffalo near water. Your guide scans for predators and identifies waterbirds along accessible tracks. Stop for the included lodge lunch, then continue wildlife viewing before beginning the return to Nairobi. Kilimanjaro may appear when cloud clears; no particular sighting is guaranteed. The guide manages the drive around park hours and the long journey home, with hotel drop-off on arrival.
