A conservancy or sanctuary stay can bring a different landscape and activity programme to an Amboseli trip. Choose the land and guiding arrangement deliberately: these properties are not automatically inside Amboseli National Park.
Angama is in Kimana Sanctuary; Porini Amboseli is in Selenkay Conservancy. Tortilis, Tawi and Elephant Garden have their own conservancy settings. A national-park visit and an experience on the surrounding private or community landscape can carry different access and fee arrangements.
Ask which drives, walks or other activities the quoted package actually includes and where they take place. A conservancy label does not by itself promise night drives, walking access, exclusive use or fewer vehicles on every outing.
Porini’s starting amount is for a complete two-night road package per adult sharing, with a minimum two guests. It is a stay price, not a nightly room rate. Its package includes specified shared transfers, activities and a park visit; confirm the current programme and any fee changes.
Tawi and Tortilis show full-board starting bases; Elephant Garden shows a game-package basis. Angama includes shared safaris but has separate conservation-related and national-park charges. Compare the written inclusions line by line rather than using a single headline figure.
ol Donyo and Campi ya Kanzi are Chyulu Hills regional choices. They can form part of a wider safari, but an Amboseli excursion should be planned separately. Campi’s included Wilson flights carry a three-night minimum condition and its conservation contribution is extra.
Request the conservation charges, national-park entry, transfer plan, private-versus-shared vehicle, minimum stay and child eligibility before confirming. Porini’s published package excludes children under eight; a family-friendly room name at another camp does not establish the same age policy.
