Gamewatchers describes Selenkay as a conservancy north of Amboseli National Park, established through community land leases and a partnership with local Maasai landowners. Its Selenkay overview explains the land arrangement and wildlife context.

Leave room for a slower programme.
Gamewatchers’ Selenkay overview describes guided walks and night drives. Porini’s Amboseli Camp programme distinguishes conservancy drives from a national park excursion. Confirm the actual outings available on your dates.
Discuss the group’s interests with the provider: patient wildlife observation, birds, tracks or time after dark can call for different pacing. Do not make a rare sighting the purpose of every outing. Wildlife and conditions determine what you see.
Confirm walk escorts, terrain, duration, minimum ages and alternatives. For a night drive, ask about vehicle sharing, weather protection and when the group can rest. The two-night package on Porini’s camp page lists daily conservancy fees, one national park entry day, shared day and night drives and escorted walks among its inclusions. Private drives and vehicles are excluded. These terms belong to that published package, rather than every possible Selenkay booking.

Get the provider’s exact road destination or the airline’s named landing point before booking transport. Confirm who meets you, baggage conditions, pickup responsibility and the plan if the arrival changes. A broad “Amboseli” destination is not a complete transfer instruction.
